I couldn't see paying 4K when I bought my 2601 so I didn't buy one. . .

He has them listed at $1995-$1999 sitting on the shipping crate. That price is for the loader assembly only. No bucket or quick attach.

When you add the cost of a quick attach and a bucket then installing everything your back around 4K

Is it me, or is that not a great price?

Depends on when you bought your tractor. If 5 years ago they were 4 grand, then it is a deal today at 4 grand because what you paid 4 grand 5 years ago is more like 5 or 5 1/2 grand today. If they have a lot of them, get ahold of the owner or the general manager and see if they are negotiable on the price if you buy a complete unit. I have a dealer about an hour away that will clearance price anything that becomes obsolete or is not moving just to get it out of storage. I bought 26/12/12 R4 tires and wheels a few months ago for $75 each since they had about a dozen because BX owners wanted a different tire for their new machine.

They have an option to make an offer. I might try a complete package deal including quick attach, bucket and install.

I'm thinking 3K.

The worse they can say is no.

Start at $2500, and then they will counter with another price. Remember you can always go up, but it is difficult to go down from an initial offer of $3000.
