Will a BH1976 thumb work on a BL4690 Backhoe ?
I can do some modifications if needed found one on FB cheap... I know i will have to fabricate rear pivot point.

Thanks

I have a BH75 backhoe and added the BH1976 thumb. I had to fabricate the pivot point on the arm as you will. I took a lot of measurements of a B3050 with a B76 backhoe at the Kubota dealer.
Here's what I ended up doing...

Bought an extra pin to fabricate with. Used it to make the bushings, and align everything.

Sanded the backhoe arm and drilled a couple holes to screw, and mount the assembly in place to weld it.

Once welded, I used some auto body filler to create a nice smooth factory looking finish.

Had some concrete to get rid of, figured it would be a good initial test. Worked great.

Looks very nice!
I find that my hydraulic thumb (L48 TLB) is indispensable!

Would you be as so kind to measure a distance from front pivot point ( bucket ) to rear mount, i would like to have factory setup or as close to as possible.
thank you again...

Sorry for the delay...I just saw your message. So you're looking for the center to center distance between the "Bucket Pin" and the "Thumb Mount Pin"?
