I think I saw a thread where someone put a link to HF for a socket that fits the rectangular head of the screw on ROPS pins.
However, that link didn't work & I can't find this tool in my searches.
Does anyone know where or what the part number would be for such a thing?
I would like an easier way to raise/lower the ROPS while still using the factory pins.

Search for four point sockets if it is square. Look at wing nut sockets if the square is not what you need.

That is all I can think of for you

Mine was hard at first and I used a small adjustable that I kept in the toolbox. After a while and some WD40 it freed up & I do it to hand tight and don't bother with the wrench.

I think you mean 8-point sockets, they are used for square plugs.
No I meant 4 point, as shown below. Eight point would also work on square head plugs.

But someone showed the head in question and it is in fact a rectangular shape not square so neither 4 or 8 would seem to work. Possibly a larger 8 point could work but I would have to look at that geometry to figure that out.

I ended up buying a wing nut socket that is 8.2mm inside where the rectangle piece is 8.11 so should work nicely. Thanks for the idea (I hadn't heard of a wing nut socket before).

Thanks all. I bought a wing nut socket from Amazon that has a 8.2mm opening (the rectangle piece is 8.11mm so I hope that will work. I did grease it up & it is easier however still take a while to take them on & off. I think the wing nut socket & driver will do the trick.

I’d take that out exactly once, and replace with a regular bolt.

I"ve owned this tractor for a week now, and so far love it... but that right there I hate.
My BX had pins that slid out easily. This L3560 just barely fits in my barn door. So told the wifey I need a new building now :)

curious....
is there some reason why you can't put an open end wrench on the larger flats on the bigger portion of the pin ?

Maybe cfreema isn't retired and needs the speed of a ratchet wrench or an impact gun to save time :)

Just noticed - he may need some teensy carabiners if he wants to use the lanyards.
