Can a Kubota L2800 single stage clutch be upgraded to a dual stage clutch?

I assume you have a manual/gear transmission since the HST has an independent PTO... Short answer, sorry, no. BUT you can use an over-run PTO coupler... which might help you some. It doesn't allow a mower to transmit power back through the transmission.

I found the below image online and was curious if it would work.

I don't know for sure... but pretty sure the L2800 is single stage clutch... even though I found several places selling L2800 duel clutches!!!

I have had an L2800 for 15 years…great tractor. Non HST model. Can anyone explain why a double clutch would be desirable? Thanks.

I like the dual stage better for bush hogging. They don’t kill the pto unless you fully clutch.
