Yeah.

Echo SRM-3020 trimmer with .105 black diamond line. It will cut down weeds that are a lot tougher than a snake.

Never had a snake come out and act defensive though. Usually they are eager to go the other way.

If it had stayed under the storage shed I would have never known it was there or cared. Cat might have found it eventually.

For what it's worth - - I've used .105 line for decades. Seems to get the job done.

Obviously did a number on the copperhead.

Tried .130 30 years ago but seemed to be more brittle and break. .095 was too light.

Agreed. I've tried different diameters over the years and settle on .105-.110 for my needs. Of course, 'quality' can vary greatly. I recommend not going 'cheap' on trimming line, it is false economy.
