I’m sure this is a newby question for sure, on my 2022 2301 every time I start it, I get a puff of black smoke is the normal for diesel tractors
Ok sounds like I’m not letting the glow plug get hot enough, it’s my first diesel I just assumed after first start she was good to goI'm with Jay - get that chamber hotter at the start and less smoke will happen at startup
Now, after first start - what time has passed? If you are running around and then go inside and get something and get back on - no glow is needed. I would say if it has sat for more than 15-20 minutes I would glow the plugs again.Ok sounds like I’m not letting the glow plug get hot enough, it’s my first diesel I just assumed after first start she was good to go
Same with mine. Also get the puff when engaging the PTO on the mower.I’m sure this is a newby question for sure, on my 2022 2301 every time I start it, I get a puff of black smoke is the normal for diesel tractors
