Removing/cleaning Radiator Net Screen on L4310 HST CAB, blocked by loader support brace

On the L4310, the radiator net screen slides into top and bottom slots directly in front of the radiator (just behind the AC condenser). The problem is that I cannot slide the screen straight in because the LA681 loader side brace is in the way on both sides. The only way I could possibly get it in is by bending and folding the screen frame to try to squash it into the slot, which is not right and ruins the screen frame.

Do I have to remove the side braces in order to clean this screen? Any other ideas?

I have run into this many times on many makes and models. Some models that have this issue have a flexible frame around the screen. One option might be to cut yours in half and add framework to make two pieces. Good luck

I had to go to TractorData.com to see a photo of your L4310 and to understand how the loader frame is in the way. That does sound like a messed up arrangement. Is there any way to rotate the slots that the screen sits in so that screen pulls out from the top with the hood raised?

How long does it take to unbolt the side frame? Obviously you have a cab since you mention the A/C condenser.

So, I have to remove the air filter to remove my screen (straight up). First improvement when they came out with the next model was a side exit for the screen (but without the extra support arm of the FEL) .

Not that much of a pain to remove the air filter but enough that now I just leave the screen there and blow the whole area out with a 1/4" air hose (lots of air). Takes a bit longer but if the wind is blowing, it helps with clearing the air to blow more crap off the screen. I do have to stop more to blow it out before it becomes an issue. I'm never too far from the house and I drink plenty of water so the breaks are welcomed.

I also shut the engine off and blow backwards through the radiator and screen... without removing the screen.

Thank you. I didn't spend time frankly figuring out how to unbolt the support brace because I knew there had to be another way. I like the 007kubotaguy suggestion above, which would save a lot of effort. I will try that.

Thank you! Mine has a side exit for the screen, rather than up. I didn't look to see if it could be pulled up, which could be a solution but a pain, as you say, if i have to remove something like the air filter. I will try the suggestion above to make it into 2 pieces and slide in one from each side.

I am out of town, but need to look at using air. The condenser is in front of the radiator, so blowing air forward will blow it into the condenser, that would be bad. So I will look at a way if it can blow radiator back and condenser forward. It will be tight.
