block heater for L235

Hi there , our L235 has a block heater in the lower rad hose and needs replacing , can we install a block heater in one of the block frost plugs and if so which one ? Thanks in advance

You would need the model that has a drive in sleeve as there is no room for a standard frost plug heater on that engine.

I can not tell you with 100% certainty if this is the right model block heater or not, there is different frost plug sizes on the older engines.

I would try to just replace you existing heater in the hose. I have never been a fan of frost plug heaters as I have had them blow out in vehicles. I have never found it necessary to have a heater on my tractor here in Ontario since having diesel tractors since 1985.
