Kubota HST L 3901 2019 ~830 hours
Yesterday i was moving dirt and it just shut off and through a E-20 error.
I checked the Fuse and the “Main ECU (Ignition key)” fuse was popped. I replaced the fuse and moved the HST peddle to move Fwd. and the fuse popped again. Replaced fuse again And I was able to slowly reverse it back up to the garage. I pulled the HST sensor and it looked good. Jumped said HST peddle sensor and was able to start the tractor with fuse in

Tested HST peddle line with key off and fuse out and was getting ~1.6 on the 20k setting on my old multimeter see pic. And at the fuse that was poping. I testes the PTO sensor and got the same ~1.6. i pulled the dash, foot guard looked it all over and couldn’t find anything that looked like it was shorting out.

I put it all back together and made it about 100’ fwd and it did it again.

So if you replace the fuse it will fire right up. You can move it in reverse. Its just when you cannot go fwd for very far without popping the fuse. It makes no sense.

Any suggestions, common rubbing places ect?

Replace the HST safety switch, it is shorting to ground which blows the fuse.

Not necessarily. You have to look at how it's constructed and move it to see how and why it's shorting out.

Do NOT buy a switch, but TWO !!!! You'll need another int he future as it's a very poorly 'engineered' switch which WILL fail. There are dozens of postings about these switches.
Sadly a properly designed switch might only cost $1 more.
