OK guy since the last forced update from microsoft my Adblocker is gone, and I cant find a down load, lots of sites but nothing will let me down load it,, any ideas ?

1) get 'stopupdates' to STOP MS from updating the OS....

2) Google 'adblocker+' find the original website. https://adblockplus.org/

I use firefox as a Browser
the following picture shows the add-ons / extensions that I use.

All this is a free download and works well.
I also use Duckduckgo only... for a search engine.

While reading OTT (just happen) a pop up for McAfee pops up and tells me that my new computer is infected with 5 virus's. Then it gives another pop up to subscribe for $99.99. I always thought they were not on the up and up, but now I am certain that I know that they are fraudsters and crooks.

Search Ublock origin. Once there, it will give you the link for your web browser to install it.

There is the distinct probability that is was NOT for McAfee. Rather, a spoof of their service that would redirect you to a dupe website to steal your CC info.

I never follow links that are provided unless I know where they are coming from. Yesterday I got a call from CVS asking for me by name and wanted my birth date to verify I was myself. I told the person on the other side of the call that she would first have to provide proof of who she was. I was a local CVS number that had been spoofed was my thought. I call the CVS pharmacy and ask if they called and the answer was no. The crooks are getting better at trying to fool us. Usually I put on my India accent and toy with them until they hang up on me. It is a lot of fun if you have the time to waste.
