I have been going nuts with hydraulic leaks at the loader valve. I can park the tractor overnight and in the morning there is a spot of hydraulic oil a foot across on the floor. I have replaced the 4 quick disconnects on both the hoses and the valve ports and replaced the O rings at the working ports of the valve. I have re-doped the npt threads and retightened the fitting at least 3 times and the leaks are still there. The new quick disconnects were purchased on Amazon from the Ceker store at a price of $15.99 each, so I figure they must be better than the lesser priced fittings. (yeah, right) Today I cleaned the fittings and left them unhooked from their mating half in the 90 degree sun. NO LEAKS. That tells me the fittings are leaking when they are connected. How much do I have to spend to get a set of quick disconnects that don't leak? Frustrated...

Could the o-rings in the female fittings be damaged or undersized?

Both the male and female sides of the quick disconnects are brand new, but anything is possible. I will contact the company tomorrow and have them replaced.

1 of the quick connects on my grapple started leaking.
It would leave a small puddle over night.
Removed the o-ring and the hydraulic shop matched it.
That fixed the leak.

Hopefully not all of the new couplers are leaking!!! That would not instill confidence in Ceker products. Hopefully they get you squared away.

I sent the quick disconnects back to Amazon. I showed them to the parts guy at my local tractor dealer and he made an interesting observation. The faulty fittings had one O ring inside the female fitting, while his stock had two o rings. His theory is that the pressure was leaking past the single o ring. I bought 4 new ones from him and we'll see where this goes... and his were half the price...

I thought I'd give the 'one week later' report on the progress. So far, NO LEAKS. Before, when the loader was disconnected and sitting in the sun, the female fittings would leak like crazy onto the blacktop. Now, dry as a bone. Oh, one more thing... When I stated the dealer's fittings were half the price, I was dead wrong. After reviewing the invoice, I discovered they were TWICE the price of the Amazon fittings. Since I lost a gallon of SUDT2 in this adventure, I figure I'm still ahead... Thanks again for your couch...
