We have a 2015 M5-111. It works perfectly in reverse, but has no forward power. It will go forward, but will not go up a hill or pull/haul anything.

My machine's HST is drive-by-wire. Two things I'd look at are the foot pedal input and the servo output and the wiring in between. Get yourself the WSM to help you diagnose.

I checked the voltage coming into the shuttle lever sensor, it the 5 volt spec. When I checked the resistance on the sensor, it was out of range. It read 1.12 and spec is not over 1. Could this be a cause of the issue?

Houston we have a problem.
M5's do not have a hydrostatic transmission, HST.

You could have a hydraulic shuttle, completely different animal!

Are you using the WSM to troubleshoot the issue?

Yes a sensor being bad could be an issue, but i don't know on that exact issue if it's the cause or not.

I suspect it's the forward clutch pack having an issue-but the control system for the packs can also cause the same end result. Thus, a good thorough check of the entire system is in order. Hopefully it's simple and inexpensive.

Yes- sorry. Hydraulic shuttle. We are using that manual. We are going to replace the sensor when it comes in and see if that helps.
