Anyone know where I can buy a replacement radiator for my B1700D besides Tractorpartsasap.com, they want way too much.

Maybe take your radiator to a radiator repair shop and have them build a new one with what you have. Is the core bad? It can be replaced. Are the tanks leaking? The can be fixed also. That is what a rebuilt radiator is!

Thank you, good advise!
I'll check with local radiator shop.

Good advice above.

I have had a few radiator's "re-cored"

The only time that I can recall not saving money was recently on my SIL's Vermeer wood chipper. The Rad shop was actually more money than a new one.

I guess you can't win them all.

I had issues with my rad leaking on my B1700 a few yrs back. With plastic tanks they are throw away. Lucky it was a small hole in the metal that I had soldered. Been holding up great. The guy I took it to said he could fab a replacement with brass tanks for around $700. Sadly he passed away earlier this year and the business closed. If it fails now I’m back in the plastic tank unit.
