Did some mowing to the pucker factor limit. The grass outside the yard was tall and thick.

Used the grapple to clean up a Silver Maple that needed to go. Had the youngest grandson "Help" with the chainsaw duties! Largest tree I've ever dropped, 42" on the stump.

Transported my electric dirtbike (Talaria MX4) while I was running the L3301 down to the lower part of my 70 acres, 300' lower, and 1/2 mile back to the shop for some little thing or tool I forgot. The bike makes quick work of it and is more fun than walking.

Wow, big tree! Looks like your cuts from either side lined up very nicely. Did you bore cut it, or just go for the back cut? I know I’m too chicken for the straight in from the back approach, especially on big trees like that. I’m afraid I’ll miss judge the lean and it’ll move back on me, or it’ll barberchair. Anyway, kudos!

Not much lean on this one. Made ~2/3 of my notch then, plunged down thru the face to remove that portion of the wedge before proceeding to the remaining 1/3 on the opposite side. Center had rot so, I was left with good hinge wood on either side. Back cut went in as normal, no plunge needed on this one. I can thank Buckin Billy Ray for the 'edumaction' to pull this off.;)

Dug up 25-30 white spruce. These will finish off my two rows and I'll put the rest on tbe back property line.

Not much. Pulled a couple little stumps.

5/16” chain was used by my father to secure milk cans in his 1963 Chevy C-50 (?) truck when he had a can route. My grandfather used it in his 1966 Chevy C-50 as well. It’s also pulled 100’s of cords of firewood.

Today was an easy day for that old chain.

First time tilled few garden plots with b6000 bought last year. Absolute unit of a machine compared to hand operated tiller which we used to turn the plots a lot of years.

We've had next to no rain and the ground is dry so i gave all of the new trees another drink. Glad i picked up a couple of these IBC totes.

That’s not good. Those totes are so handy. Guy can never have enough of them. How’s the wildfire situation your way?
I'm on pei and we've been under a burn ban for over a month. No fires, but the woods are full of dead trees from our hurricane 1-1/2 years ago so there's lots of fuel.

Glad to hear of no fires. Hope you get some rain though. Mowing is more fun than watering trees haha at least for me anyways

We got a lot of downed fir last winter with all the wind, heavy snow, and stump rotted trees. During mud season I have been limbing out the ones I can get a stud log from (5"+). This week I started pulling them out. Since I haven't been in the woods for a while with a tractor I started with the small ones to get the rust and cob web out.

I put the camera out. It's just small wood but will give you an idea of how they work in the woods if you are interested.
