1972 L210 value

what would be a good price to offer for a 1972 L210 with 702 hours? tires are fair. it seems to be in relatively good condition for its age, runs well starts easily. Comes with a 4 foot brush hog. The owner paid $3000 couple of years ago. She is open to a reasonable offer. I haven't been able to find many comparables for sale across the country. Any ideas from any of you out there?

Is that a loader frame or just a frame for a push bar? $3K seems a little pricy without a loader. Maybe $2-2,500? What else is for sale around you for that sort of price, and are they better or worse than this machine?

If it runs and operates well $3k strikes me as reasonable. If I was selling it I would be reluctant to accept much less. What happened to the loader?

I'm with Dan - a large tractor like that with cutter is still worth a coin or two! 23 HP twin cylinder diesel - simple design and beefy by todays tractors. At 52 years old - seems to be in good shape!

Finding parts when needed is the only downfall.

Only disadvantage is it is 2wd - which may be just fine for the purpose of cutting grass.

IF I was selling - I would start at 4K - IF you know her, and she paid 3k - then offer 2500, if she bites - you are in fine shape, if she holds at 3k, it is still a good deal.

Old 8n's were going for that many years ago - I would still pay more for a diesel than a gasser any day of the week.

true true - you can STILL find parts to those 8N's ........... they only made about 530,000 of them!
Were as that Kubota probably had .......... 5,000 built!

I actually think it might be possible to build a new 8N from aftermarket parts currently available.
I have had a good (50 yrs for me) run with my 1951 8N, but I am now ready for it to go to another home.
It just takes up space. I do not use it at all.
Will try: bringatrailer.com next month.

thank you for all your replies. The yellow frame is for an Emerson loader that apparently did not exist when she bought the tractor. The FMC brush hog comes with it. My only concern is the adjustment of the clutch so it will release completely. It appears that the FreePlay is way too large. And the adjusting stop nut is all the way down. I would guess that if need be, ......you could find a clutch, throwout bearing, and pilot bearing somewhere.
Some other stuff,......maybe not so much.

At the end of the day, as long as buyer and seller are happy with the deal, that's all that matters !

Being 2WD is a bonus ! It keeps the price low since 'everyone' HAS to have 4WD(maybe cause they never learned to drive a 2WD tractor ) ? Also less parts to break, less to replace, cheaper to fix !!

I have owned my 1951 2WD Ford 8N for 50 years, and still have it.
I would not trade twenty five 8N's for my L48 TLB.
