Can Power Service be used water removal? I’ve been using Howells. And just used the last of it. I use Power Service in my Dodge. But I run a lot of fuel through that. But don’t through my tractor. Thanks for any advice

I use acetone to remove water in my fuel. Since acetone is 100% miscible it works well. I use 1 ounce acetone per 5 gallons of diesel in the summer and 1 ounce acetone per 3 gallons of diesel in the winter.

No product that I know of removes water from fuel.
Products demulsifies the fuel, which separates the water it out of it, you still need to drain the water out of the fuel.
Acetone does Zero to help with water in fuel.

You need to look at the following links if you really believe that acetone is not useful for absorbing water in fuel. Although acetone does not actually remove water from fuel, it does absorb it and allows it to burn with the fuel. This is true if the amount of acetone is equal to or greater than the amount of water it is absorbing, or mixing with if you prefer to use that term.

You want something that divides / separates the water from the fuel then gets trapped in the filters and separators.
Acetone is great at cleaning, but losey at fuel treatment.
