This past winter I found a BX23S with a cab partially installed that was priced very reasonably with less than 2 hours on the meter. The owner passed away and the heirs sold the house and everything in it along with everything in the garage to someone who does home remodeling. He posted the tractor for sale on Facebook Marketplace, so I went to look at it. I decided that I didn't need another project, but while I was there he sold me some of the "accessory" items that the man had purchased for the tractor before his passing. He offered me everything for $30,000, and as I was leaving he said how about $xx,000. I thought about it for a moment and then told him he should have a problem getting that for the tractor, but I still wasn't interested. I just didn't want to take on another project, and I already have a BX23S with a cab. A lot of people buy tractors that are a spur-of-the-moment decision and regret it afterward. Then they try to recoup their mistake by selling it to someone else. Most times they never get back what they have invested.
