My brother inlaw is looking for a 60" rotary cutter and the standard Pulsar is $1000 cheaper than the 12 series Landpride. Does anyone have experience with this exact model? Not looking for other cutters, I'm buying local and these are it. Also there is nothing in the used market around here other than the odd one that sat for 10 years and they want 2k for it.

Since you are not considering any other brands all I can say is that I was very disappointed with an MK Martin ballast box that I purchased last year. I ended up doing major surgery to it to strengthen it.

Thanks for the heads up. I was considering one for myself when the backhoe is off.

The design of the stump jumper is definitely not great but the BIL said he only needs it for ditch grass and cattails around his slough. No bush clearing and his land isn't rocky. I have a flail mower he can use for saplings if needed.
