Anyone replaced the diaphragm in a B6100 primary fuel pump

After removing the screws from the pump remove the outside cover. Sounds like you're already there. Now push in on the diaphragm and push the metal plunger on the back side in and rotate 90°. The diaphragm should come right out. Inspect the two plastic check valves. Typically this is the problem with the pumps if it's not pumping. Generally more cost-effective to just replace the entire pump. Good luck

Thanks for the information and directions! The pump works, I was just thinking of how old the diaphragm is and it leaking fuel into the crankcase. Thanks, Chris

Yea I just buy the whole pump.
Are they all the same pressure to your knowledge? I found one that fits a Kubota V2203, V2403 engine and it has the hand primer lever on it like the one I pulled off of the Kubota Powered, Onan generator I am working on with the 675cc engine

Yes that will work, I like the ones with the primer lever too!

I don't think the pressure is critical. One thing I've noticed is the hose connections orientation varies, if that matters to you.

The hose orientation isn't critical. The pump I have on there now has banjo fittings for the fuel. I would like to have them on a new pump, but I'd much rather save an engine from oil dilution than having banjo fittings.

You could eliminate the possibility by installing an electric pump and blanking off that hole. Or use an elevated tank and not use a lift pump at all.
