Oil Level BX 2380

oil level reads high on BX2380, Drained oil and refilled, 4 quarts. Oil level still reads high on the dipstick. Anyone else had this issue and what could be the cause? oil removed also measured 4 quarts.

I think the capacity is closer to 3.3 quarts.

Did you start it and allow to run for a minute or so?

Don't feel bad, a while back I filled my BX with almost 2 gallons, when I mistakenly thought I had picked up a 1 gallon container but instead had grabbed a 2 1/2 gallon container. Had to drain over a gallon out to get it back to the correct level. Another senior moment, I guess.
