Greetings,
Looking for some help cross referencing a cogged belt for a Kubota V2003T engine in a Toro Groundsmaster. The Kubota OEM belt is part #15469-97010. This is a smooth V-belt. This also comes from Toro as a smooth v belt. Basically, what happens in the design flaw of this machine, is that it sucks all grass into the radiator fan area and the belt becomes contaminated or glazed quickly then does not cool as well or starts slipping. The updated version of this machine has a V-2403-T with a cogged belt (part number 17112-97012) but that belt is too short to fit the older machine.
I called Messicks to cross reference the 15469 part number to a cogged belt. They have just added an engine division so in the future they could look it up but not currently.
What do the numbers mean on the Kubota belt? Example on the 17112 cogged belt there is a 3400 then 13X990
li. 990 is length I assume?
I know I could probably source one from Napa but would rather have OEM.
Thanks for any help
Sean
