I am trying to change the filter in the water separator on my Kubota L3902. The manual says to disconnect the connector of the water sensor. If you follow the wire up through a clip the sensor plugs in. (very tight spot) I can't pull the plug out. There may be some kind of a release. Anyone have experience getting the water sensor connector out?

I had a similar issue. There is a tab on the connector that needs to be depressed to release it. I also had to use a small flathead screwdriver to encourage the connector to separate. I ended up unbolting the bracket that holds the water separator and protector "cage" to get better access to the connector. I think my issue was mostly due to build up dirt. After taking it apart, cleaning it, it is now much easier to disconnect.
