***Current*** M6060HDC, MX6000HSTC & GL7000 ***Sold*** MX6000HST & BX25DLB
I read a lot of negatives about CraigsList but I've had such a positive experience with it over the years. I've sold cars and trucks, an MX6000, automotive parts, and now a MidSota trailer without having to pay any fees as you do with Gunbroker and similar. I've found a snow blower, 3-point receiver, disc harrow, turn over plow, steel beams, an anvil, a welding table, and all manner of steel plate, pipe, angle and tubing on Craigslist.
I bought the '21 MidSota 22ft equipment trailer on 2/20/21 for $5,600. It had been used three or four times and was in near new condition. I've put a lot of miles on that trailer with 1,200 miles on a single trip to pick up the M6060 in Sheridan, WY. I've used it many times hauling the MX6000 HST, MX6000HSTC, picking up pipe, picking up two plows, a disc harrow, EA box blade, EA land plane, EA grapple, the Land Pride snow blower, suitcase weights, and on and on. I really like that trailer and I'll miss it, but the $6,500 I sold it for can go towards something else now. Maybe I could have got more, but I'm happy with the deal, the new owner is happy, and he asked me if I'd be interested on clearing up an acre and half that's in a bit of a mess. He's decided not to buy a tractor, and when he saw my two he asked if I he could hire me to do some work for him. We'll see how that turns out.
Last year I bought a PJ 22ft hydraulic deckover trailer (T8) because the M6060 won't fit on the MidSota with the wheels on the second widest setting. The MidSota is built on 5" channel and the PJ on 8" I-beam, but the MidSota tows so well whether empty or loaded to the max. I like redundancy but it doesn't make sense to have two equipment trailers. It's with mixed feelings that I part with the MidSota Nova but no doubt the new owner will use and enjoy it as much as I have.
