I have a Factory Installed 3rd function remote on my Grand L. The hydraulic lines come off hard lines under the cab near the right step. The lines are in a vulnerable position and constantly being hit by branches and debris. Does anyone have a suggestion to protect or reroute the hydraulic lines to the rear of the tractor?

You should probably contact: Specialtyrepairsandcustommods.com, in Bay Roberts, NL, Canada.
1-709-786-3348.
This husband/wife team makes and ships, all sorts of very high quality custom upgrades, specifically for Kubota tractors.
They are first class folks!

Looks like it would be easy to bolt on ( so you don’t have to weld) some angle iron to the bolted on brackets that are there now. And sandwich piece if expanded metal or … to let the debris come out.
If you have the ability to weld up a piece, you can make a cover to bolt on.

1st ,I'd add 90* adapters between hoses and 'the block'. If left asi is ,I can see the hoses failing between the wraps of tape and the sheathing. Might take a year or two , depending on actual use,but they'll fail for sure.
2nd, yes, say some 1/8" sheeting, bent and bolted as required.

It is difficult to see from your photo where the lines are running to but is it possible to replace the hard lines with flexible lines and do a complete reroute?

That’s very “sloppy” of Kubota to have so poorly-designed that…. They should include those aftermarket shields as Standard equipment.

Have you seen any aftermarket shields? If so please point me in that direction. I’m anxious to install them. These hydraulic lines are the heartbeat of the machine.

Not cheap,...... but really good stuff!
Thank you. I am definitely going to purchase both. I’m surprised I got away without them this long. I’m waiting on replacement hoses probably $140 plus a week without the machine.

Father in law always says that being retired is hard work. You never get a day off again.

yes ! since I retired 35 years ago, it seems 'everyone' KNOWS I have 'free' time and expect their 'ruxh' job to be put ahead of everyone else's 'rush' job and that I should stop all MY jobs for them......
I'd explain further but someone's at the garage with a ded rider and a snowbower.....gotta go...

If you didn't learn the first time that driving through brush on a SCUT/CUT isn't a good idea then you need to keep learning
Yep! It'd be a cold day in hell before I'd spend $350 on a piece of folded 1/4" plate.

It's so easy to design and make your own stuff when you have a way to cut and weld steel. Invest $1,000 on some half decent metal working tools and stop paying someone else's mortgage ... that's my tip of the day!! 😂

By the way, a 2ft x 2ft x 1/4" piece of steel is around $80, and that's paying full retail!

Isn't that the truth. I've been retired for 7 years now and probably working harder (on my property each day) than I did at my regular day job (which was demanding). But I have to say....at least it is by 'choice' and I can start or stop as I wish. (y)

So not complaining. It is all self imposed.
