Hey, huge break (tear, rip) in my hydraulic line, need to replace it. Need to know what its called, see pictures
The ends, do they require any special tools?

Also, I see B7100 and they use the word HST? Is mine an HST, it was made in 1980

Its called a hydraulic hose and it will come with the end fittings on it. You need to determine length and the type of ends you currently have on the hose.

Do you shift gears like a manual transmission in a car or do you have a forward/backward foot pedal. If pedal its HST.

They had 3 variants
Model 7100E 2wd gears
Model 7100D 4wd gears
Model 7100hst hydrostatic
I think the early 80s were all gear tractors.
Take the broken line off and find your nearest shop that does hydraulic lines. That’s what I do so I end up returning with a working proper part.

Is it the black hose or the red hose? The red hose is the suction line to the pump. The black hose is the pressure line from the pump to the valve. The suction line is generally just slipped on barbed fittings with the hose clamp. The black hose will have cramped on ends. Any good Auto Parts or hydraulic supply should be able to take care of you. Take the old one in and they can duplicate it.

Take the hydraulic line off and go to a local hydraulic shop, there are quite a few in Spokane to choose from.
They will make a new line with the right fittings.

To remove the hose will only require open end wrenches. Probably one to hold the fitting on the tractor side and one to turn the hose end. Probably not metric size.

Putting the ends on the black hose does require special equipment that the hydraulic hose shop will have.

Hope that answers your questions about that

manual shift, so Not HST - thank you, yes, I knew it was a hydraulic hose, was unsure of the nomenclature, i.e. the ends, it looks specialized. Not something I have ever dealt with.

Everyone else, yes, this helped me very much!!

Premade hose assemblies with NPT or JIC ends can be purchased cheap either online or at your local tractor supply.

I am sure the ends on your current hose are quite standard and can be matched with a couple cheap hydraulic adapters.

Custom made hoses are an easy but usually pricey alternative.
