Trailer requirements for a Kubota 3901

Not sure exactly what you mean , fried. It's not the ramps I want to see. It's the road behind the trailer. Even with floods on the truck bumper, I want to see the road behind the 30 or 40' trailer. Not the ramps.
+1 on reverse lights for the trailer. I mounted a pair under the toy hauler about 3 feet from the tail. The flat bed has them on the fenders. I found out long ago that mounting them on the rear gives you a good view of what's behind it. But not where you are going if turning.

Fried's obviously never backed up a 6x10 dump trailer at night on a curvy driveway otherwise he'd know the backup lights on his pickup truck are worse than useless....

You are absolutely correct, but I thought the subject was equipment trailers, not DUMP trailers.
Most likely my L48 TLB could actually pick up an empty 6x10 dump trailer, but it most certainly would not fit inside it.

The ramps stand up plenty high on my 20' equipment trailer, to see (with the vehicle backup lights) where the end/corner of the trailer is.....day, or night.
No..... I cannot see 30'-40' behind the trailer, but I can readily see where the tail of the trailer is..

The marker lights tell me where the tail is even when I'm not in reverse. I want to see where the trailer is going to be. Not where it is.

It'll cost you a lot of time and effort and money when you try backing up your trailer here(well friend's laneway ) when you can't SEE 2-3' behind your trailer at night.
It took the smartazz tilt an load kid 3 HOURS.One of those 'know it all, no problem, done it before' attitude dudes. Friend and I sat and watched..made for good entertainment.

I think you’re saying the backup lights on the truck will illuminate and reflect off of tilt up ramps, ceasing one’s ability to see beyond the tilt up ramps?
