Not sure exactly what you mean , fried. It's not the ramps I want to see. It's the road behind the trailer. Even with floods on the truck bumper, I want to see the road behind the 30 or 40' trailer. Not the ramps.
+1 on reverse lights for the trailer. I mounted a pair under the toy hauler about 3 feet from the tail. The flat bed has them on the fenders. I found out long ago that mounting them on the rear gives you a good view of what's behind it. But not where you are going if turning.
