Would it self destruct if i plumbed a remote to the rear of my tractor that i could quick couple my backhoe hydraulics into and bypass using the pro mount hydraulic pump???? Any advice or ideas appreciated
I thought since the pump had less gpm than the tractor it would make it more powerful to use the tractors hydraulic pumpYou can do that but it's going to be much slower and have less power over a remote hydraulic pump.
If you do it flush all of the system out and use the same fluid as your tractor in it.
Your tractor pump has to run other things like power steering, hydrostatic transmission, etc. If the pump were strong enough Kubota probably would have matched a backhoe with no secondary pump in it. Look at the B26, L47, M62...they all have internal pumps for the backhoe. Could be wrong but I think the M62 had 2 pumps.I thought since the pump had less gpm than the tractor it would make it more powerful to use the tractors hydraulic pump
It might be, and if so you'll be fine.I thought since the pump had less gpm than the tractor it would make it more powerful to use the tractors hydraulic pump

If the tractor pump produces more flow and the same or greater pressure as the PTO pump it will work just as well if not better than the PTO pump. You need to know those numbers.I thought since the pump had less gpm than the tractor it would make it more powerful to use the tractors hydraulic pump
Wolf man my l3650 needs a wiring harness but I’m having trouble finding stuff for it do you have any suggestions? The BL4590 had a factory 5 GPM pump and the L3650 has a 7.8 GPM main pump.
So you'll have enough flow.
The L48 TLB actually has 3 hyd. pumpsYour tractor pump has to run other things like power steering, hydrostatic transmission, etc. If the pump were strong enough Kubota probably would have matched a backhoe with no secondary pump in it.
