Injection pump flow rate

I have a D1105 in a light power plant the engine was having issues starting, I determined the injectors were the issue. I bought new injectors from kubota and installed them. When i was replacing the injectors, I saw the fittings on top of the Injection pump turned. I took this as them being loose. I tightened them down. After I did that, I had zero fuel coming from the injection pump. I later found out that those fittings determine flow rate and there is a procedure for doing that. How ever I cannot find anywhere the procedure on how to do that, can anyone help me.

Can not help you other than to suggest you send the pump out for professional repair to someone like THIS or find a reputable repair shop locally

If you remove the pump there are (probably) shims under the mounting surface that must be kept and installed with any pump.

Take or send the pump to be rebuilt.
Oregon fuel injection is my go to.
It's not a fuel amount adjustment, it's a fuel curve adjustment.
You need the proper test equipment to set them properly.

I spoke to a kubota technician he said that a new one comes without being set and you have to set them and there is a set procedure to do that. He no longer works for Kubota and does not have the access to the information any more.

I have never heard of a tech setting a Injection pump fuel curve???

Get the WSM for the engine, if I'm wrong and there is a procedure to do it in the field, it will be in there.

if you ordered a new pump from kubota, it's fully set and ready to go. Been that way for decades unless things have changed in the last 3 years or so, which I doubt.

You need to send the pump to a Kubota-authorized pump service shop. Oregon Fuel Injection is one of the best.
