Its under warranty and they are supposed to fix it all. And like anything else you buy you can get a bad one every now and then.

It sounds like you got the lemon in the bunch. That doesn't mean that the tractor is bad, but that you have an unusual amount of issues. If I had put down good money for it, I would have a sit down with the dealer and a Kubota rep. Even if they are willing to fix all of these things now, who knows what will rear up in the future? I would express my concern about the high number of issues, and that I am now lackig confidence in the tractor. I bought Kubota because I had confidence in it, and now that is shaken. I would prefer that they issue me a new tractor, but if not, I would want them the extend the warranty, and keep my tractor on the radar.

When I bought my first Kubota 35 years ago I ordered a front pump for the loader. The dealer couldn't figure out how to mount it, and ended up taking a torch to the hood mount to get it in. Then in short order the mis-aligned pump shaft broke. They bought me a new pump, and I figured out the mount. Tractor has run great ever since.
This sounds like a poor prep job. They should know how much air to put in the front tire. OR, it shouldn't leak out. They should check the A/C. And they should check the antifreeze and cooling system. None of it makes a bad tractor. But it sure sounds like a poor dealer.

I'm not familiar with your model. However, according to TractorData, the L3540 has a 3 cylinder engine. The block heaters are typically installed on the left hand side of the 3 cylinder engines. It is only on the four cylinder engines that the heaters should go on the right hand side.

I doubt you have a lemon. However, I think it would be well worthwhile for you to go over your tractor carefully. Check all fluids, check loader and wheel bolts, and torque them to the manual's specs. On my brand-new L4240, I was surprised to find that the real wheels weren't properly torqued, the front axle was less than half filled with hydraulic fluid, and the main transmission was also short on hydraulic fluid (well below the "must fill" mark).

The dealer I bought the tractor from obtained it from another dealer. Apparently, neither dealer did a thorough job of going over the tractor. In a new car dealership, this would be totally unacceptable. Kubota dealers apparently don't hold themselves to as high a standard, which is disappointing.

What Kuboman and other said, I would be sure to make the dealer fix it, but you do need to keep track of tire pressure wheel torque and things like that. We are on our fifth Kubota and fourth new one. The first one was poorly setup and had some problems, the other from a different dealer have been trouble free.

Yes, everyone makes a lemon, but I don't think you have one.

Glad you caught that, "senior moment", should be fifth, I am getting use to the keyboard on a new computer and bouncing back and forth between it and my old one, sorry for the confusion.:(

Thanks for all the input. The guy I deal with is very nice and has done everything to help. Just frustrating to buy something brand new and have as many problems. I still love the tractor and hope the problems end soon.

As aggravating as it is be thankful the dealer has stepped up to the plate to address the issues and fix what's wrong. We've heard on here all too often that people buy a brand new Kubota and go threw hell and back trying to get their crappy dealer to honor the warranty work. Sounds like everybody wants to sell them but nobody wants to fix them!
