L3010 won’t turn over

I have an L3010. I changed out the glow plug relay. Day before doing that , lights were dinning, wouldn’t shut down when I turned the key off. Replaced the battery as it was old and positive connector was bad. Replaced the end connector. Tractor won’t turn over, dash lights come on, once it did a weak turnover. Tested battery, good @ 12, checked starter has 12 volt at the feed. Wont turn over. Appreciate any ideas.

check both ends of both cables!
A bad ground connection can be as bad as a bad Positive connection.
if you just changed the end of the battery cable, it may be the whole cabe is bad.

Would the dash lights still come on if connections aren’t good?

I agree with checking the ground. It sounds counterintuitive with a new battery, but you might try jumping it. If that doesn't work, relays, safety switches, solenoid (if it has one)?

Check for good clean/tight connection of negative battery cable to tractor frame.

Check the condition of the negative battery cable where it bolts to the frame. If that machine ever had a battery that leaked, acid always finds a way to that bolted connection and speeds up the rotting process. I'd try running a jumper cable from the negative terminal of the battery to the frame of the starter or clean metal nearby and see if that does anything.

If that doesn't work, per attached starting diagram the other potential issues could be:

-Open in the wiring somewhere
-Bad Starter Relay
-Bad Neutral safety switch or pto switch (common on older machines, but can easily be bypassed)
-Main fuse (but nothing electrical on machine would work)
-Bad Ignition switch
-Bad Starter

The glow plug controller has zero effect on the starting system.
The fact that you report dimming lights previously almost guarantees you have a connection problem in the system, and my bet is on the negative side of the system.

replacing one end won't get rid of the corrosion inside the core of the cable.

IMHO those cable ends, as pictured, are NOT acceptable!

It was pretty easy, watched a YouTube video first.
