howdy: bought a b2601 back in 2015, never had to remove the backhoe, now i'll be moving and will need the 3pt for various attachments. apparently on assembly they didn't think of that, the backhoe frame is in the way of sliding the pin out to hook it up. anyone else run into this predicament? the only way to get that pin out is to drill holes for it to pass through or unbolt the whole frame as far as i can see. i emailed the dealer hopefully they remedy their mistake which was not putting a couple pieces on first.

thanks for 6the reply, it's the large pin that the stabilizers attach too, next to the drawbar.

Do you have the owners manual for the backhoe? It will tell and show you how to take the backhoe off.
these pictures where posted on here by someone else awhile back,i used them because it's the same problem, they never did say how they got around it though
yes that's correct,if they had installed part 40 before the frame it wouldn't be a problem

Jack up one rear side of tractor and support.
Remove that tire.
Remove subframe on that side.
Unlock bolt and remove in the center of rod, center of tractor.
Slide rod out.
Install parts needed for check chains.
Reinstall all parts.
Yes if you want, you could drill a hole in line with the rod to be able to remove it without having to remove the subframe.

thanks for the info,i did go out and study the problem closer, and noticed the subfame,i was thinking it was one piece. looks like 7 or so bolts and i can remove it. i contacted my dealer who put the tractor together when i bought it and they offered to correct the oversight, parts should have been installed before the frame was put on.
