I have stabilizers to build, but it is 14 outside, and my barn isn't heated. Once I drink my coffee, I will bundle up, and trudge out. Gotta make hay while it's shining.

I'm going to attempt to demount the old & mount the new tires on alloy wheels for my Rhino, the old fashioned way, (by hand) wish me luck. I expect easy mounting, but breaking those beads is going to be a bitch.....

I was working on the drive train for our Mini Baja car we're building at school. Now I believe I'm going to go thaw the barn out and put the gear cover back on my tractor.

I got to build a few things for the BX when it shows up but today we ended up with 12" of snow so I spent the day snow clearing which was enjoyable. Uploading a video of it now. Hope your stabilizer build went well.
Cheers. Paul

We had a good dusting of snow, but no accumulation. I wish we would.
The stabilizers went fine, but it sure was cold in the barn. It didn't get above 22 F. Which is fine for drilling and using the shop press, but my legs sure got cold standing there for long periods of time.

Ya I guess that was uncomfortable but at least you got it done. Goes to show your determined to make it happen.
Maybe you can get a few photos of the project. Looks like we got two major storms to deal with this week coming.

Gee Daniel it sure sounds like you got yourself a real coyote problem there. We're seeing more and more of them up here as well and they are getting blamed in the declining caribou population here. We've gone from having an estimated heard of 75.000 down to less than 20.000 in ten years.
They just came out with a hunting ban on them now. Hope someone notifies the coyote

Can you hunt coyote? That's what they did around here, to bring the population down. At one point, they were paying something like $60 for every coyote killed and brought to the game warden.

Yes we do have a hunt but they are still a growing concern. The government pays $25. For each one. If they paid $60 we'd be bring in not only coyotes but in laws as well for that kind of cash lol

Yes we do have a coyote problem I never go to the ranch with out my 22-250 I kill them to try to help out the deer. Week before last my mother went out to the barn and as she was walking into the barn 2 coyotes came running out of the barn, dont know who was more startled mom or the coyotes. Im going to hunt them pretty hard for the next couple months , California still has plenty of rural territory just have to many libs that dont take care of the coyote problem.

Watch out for those libs. I read just this morning that some are trying to pressure the EPA into regulation ammunition because it has lead in it. Quote, they took the lead out of paint and the lead out of fuel, now they need to take the lead out of ammunition, as a form of regulation. Better get your killing down while you still can... maybe you could get good with a sling shot...

Our ranch is in an active California condor ( big buzzard ) area 4 years ago the federal goverment passed a law that bans lead ammo in the active condor area. The only lead ammo we can use in this area is shotgun ammo. They say condor injest lead from the carcass of dead deer, rabbits wild hogs and so forth. I spoke with a federal bioligist he told me the lead that has killed a few condors comes from the soil and some areas the condor lives in has a heavey lead content. I hand load all my own ammo so I use Barnes lead free bullets they work just fine . I still hunt my coyotes with some other ammo I have thousands of rounds loaded and Im sure as hell not going to buy other bullets till all the other is spent.

As far as I understand here in Virginia you can shoot "nuisance" animals all year long, and the coyote is one they claim to be a nuisance.
