Nice. Reminiscent of some of the early garden tractors that utilized old car axles and what appeared to be largely scrap pile compilations of parts.

Very Imaginative use of talents. I’m surprised he still has all his fingers.

His workshop resembles mine, but he is more talented.

That's a long video, but it looks like it's worth watching when I have a little more time.

Probably two things at work, ok three. A skilled and knowledgeable fabricator with the use of very simple tools and supplies. Necessity due to few other choices and way more time than money.

Regardless, quite impressive outcome.

Just in case the fabricator is new to OTT, lets catch him up on key "stuff"

In case he needs to make repairs the WSM can be downloaded from <<here>>

If its bogging in winter add this anti gel <<here>>

if he turns the key and nothing happens check the pto / seat saftey switch. here is the electrical schematic <<here>>

Only use OEM hydraulic fluid and filters or it will burst in flames and end in eternal hell but for engine oil and greases anything goes
<<See here>>

with the modified / drilled steel work and modified (ROPS) he is pouched to eternal hell Read <<here>>

In case he needs to make repairs the WSM can be downloaded from <<here>>

ROTFL 😆

all joking aside nice to see the ingenuity rather than just shelling out cash for the new over priced shat they call tractors these days.

He’s got the wrong tires for plowing beans, spinach and corn.
I also don’t think that thing’s gonna work in a rice field.

I never saw "Cuban Chrome" but I have been to rural Cuba.
Their mechanics should really be called fabricators/innovators.
They can make any part from nothing,...... and make it work exactly as it should!

That's precisely what the show was about and you are right, they are light years advanced in mechanical skill than dealers. It was out of neccity because the cars were from USA and for years they were under embargo which meant they couldn't import USA goods. Mechanics used horses to tow cars. The show was short lived because the embargo was lifted shortly after show started.
