Winter time, it gets dark pretty early here in Michigan. Most of my snow plowing is after I get home from work, thus, after dark. Shortly after buying the tractor, I put a series of LED lights on the ROPS, pointing forward and rearward. They do well, but I've noticed the cockpit would be virtually dark. I installed a small 1" diameter red LED flush mount clearance light on the underside of the dash, below the steering wheel, to illuminate the floor area. Wired it into the OEM front headlight circuit. Does a nice job giving just enough navigating lighting, but the light source is not visible to my eye, due to the angle of the dash cowl. Pretty happy with the outcome.

Here's pictures of the installed light in action......

It's a near flush mount clearance light requiring a 3/4" hole to mount in.
That’s all ya need. i like It. My cabbed lx model is so dark getting in. I want to do something like this when I have some extra time.
