Fuel Filter Element

I have a 1994 Kubota B-2150 with a fuel filter housing P/N 1553143011 I can not find the filter element for that housing.

Any help would be appreciated

The housing that came on the tractor is different and requires a different filter then what Kubota offers

The filters Kubota offer have a.320 hole the filer I need has .360 hole and it not steel its like a plastic end

Try searching on Messicks or Kubota website for that housing part number and see if you can figure out the filter.

That number is not associated with your tractor so you should probably go to the dealer or call Messicks for the element number that fits

The part number you posted is not a Housing Part Number but it is a filter part number.
And if your B has that Filter on it then someone has swapped out the B filter housing for an L filter housing.

I've also see make that say a new filter won't fit.
Where the steel end has come off the filter and gotten stuck in the housing.

The part number you posted is not a Housing Part Number but it is a filter part number.
And if your B has that Filter on it then someone has swapped out the B filter housing for an L filter housing.

15531-43011 is a housing part number. Problem is that I believe it's a Japanese part so have to VPN into Japan to get any parts info. See the filter housing part number when zoomed into this picture.



Try 1T021-43560 for the filter element and 14301-43570 and 04816-00390 for the two o-rings.

Just because you see a picture on the internet does not make it right.
Kubota DOES NOT put part numbers on parts period they never have.
That is not a Kubota part number!
Some aftermarket company has plastered a part number on it with no clue that they have put a wrong part number on it.

I stand by my answer. The part number he gave is the part number shown on the housing in the picture I showed. Subsequent searching shows me that 15751-43010 is also a part of the same filter assembly grouping and that is a legitimate Kubota part number.

Regardless, I found the post you were talking about as far as the metal cap from a removed filter element being stuck in the housing.

Questions about the fuel filter on a B2150

I took the bowl off and a mess of dirt. I purchased a new filter and 2 o-rings at the dealer to replace the filter. The big o-ring goes on the collar of the fuel bowl, but the small one and the filter opening (which I assume faces up) are too small. I did a cross reference and the filter number...

You gotta be real careful crossing part numbers!

15531-43011 is not the same as 15531-43110 which is a Kubota part number for a filter housing.

Unrecorded modifications to equipment can be a nightmare. Anytime anyone makes a change from OEM….. for goodness sakes!….. make a record of it in the manuals…and/or write it indelibly directly on the equipt/part. and the SOURCE for replacement parts.
