Anyone ever use their snowblower to PUSH slush of of the paved areas? This morning there was an overnight 2” snowfall followed by “inches” of rain…a slushing mess!
Anyway, I loaded the truck for the dump run then pushed the slush off of my paved areas. Worked okay, not ideal but good enough in the pouring rain.😡

In these instances, I'm glad I have a rear snowblower, as I can use the FEL to push this crappy slush off the driveway. And if it's only a few inches, I'll use my little lawn tractor with a snow blade. The rear snowblower can "push" the slush, but it's a lot more work than needs to be.

I don't have a snowblower. Sounds like a job for a rear blade assuming you have the blower on the front.

Mine is a front blower. Anyway, my next big toy will be a nice side by side with a PLOW for these conditions. Then I’ll be covered for the everything.

A rear blade would be good but I leave the backhoe on for ballast and have no 3 point kit. A neighbor offered me a free rear blade but I had to decline.

Yup, done that several times, I have even done it with snow, if it's a small amount, and the wind is blowing the wrong way. Just make sure to clean out the blower well after.
