Hi everyone,

My question is in the title. Does anybody has a photograph of the oil inlet port of the steering gear box? I am not able to find it on my Kubota L1802 which is supposed to be very close to a L235.

Thank you guys!

I don’t know about that model but I will look at my L185 and see if I can find it and get back to you with a picture tomorrow (in USA)

The fill port is on the left side (sitting in tractor seat) of the tractor. It is on top of the steering box which is bolted on top of the clutch housing.

It will be difficult to see but bend your head down into the shifter area and look forward under the dash cowling. On my tractor it is beneath the fuel tank and the steering column comes down through the fuel tank.

The red object (pen) is pointing at the square head pipe plug that is the fill port.

In this picture the red object is touching the plug

You can see that area is very dirty so you may need to remove debris and oily residue to see it

Impossible to find it on my L1802. Seems to be slightly different from your L185. Thanks anyway!
Anyone else would have a photograph of this fill port?

There is a restoration video of a L1802 on YouTube. I pulled this screen shot Of the steering box. I have no idea if they made changes in this series of tractors, with yours being a different box. I also do not know if they offered a power steering version. Is yours manual steering?
