I purchased a B2650 recently. The suspension mechanism is solid and doesn’t flex when i sit on the seat or go over rough ground. I lubricated the pivot points with WD-40 but doesn’t seem to help loosen up the pivot points to be able to flex. Are there any tips anyone can share on how to get the suspension mechanism freed up?
Thank you in advance.
Jeff

Yes, don’t use wd40! Use a penetrating oil, such as kroil (I think). There are a number of threads on here about how wd-40 is actually water displacement, not penetrating..
good luck!

Look for something that is jamming the mechanism.

I would suggest that you take off the seat and clean it out and then see where it is supposed to move and get some penetrating oil like Kroil or PB Blaster on the movement points.

I’m guessing that this is a non-cab model. My B2650 cab had a suspension adjustment knob that would increase or decrease the severity of spinal torture going over ruts.

Got photos of your suspension seat?

14 years ago, I used a metal rod to get mine unstuck. Took some time and penetrating fluid. I did mine off the tractor only because I took the seat home from the farm so I had more time to work on it. Old crappy video of doing it;

I have the same type that you have. I was thinking of doing the same as you in the video. My tractor is a 2014 so it might have been stuck for awhile. Thanks for the video.
