4520B/4530B backhoe

Morning all Does anyone have or know where to get a repair manual for these hoes? The valve body has two joy sticks The one works great but the other is a son of a gun They both are tied to two valves but the connectionarms are facing opposite ways from on side to other Is this normal Have the downloaded parts reference But doesnt help with hook upThanks Ken

Hello Ken. Is there resistance on the lever when the PTO is disengaged?
What I'm trying to ask is it a mechanical linkage issue or an internal hydraulic condition under pressure?CD

The Kubota 4520-4530 backhoes were built by Wood's equipment co. It is the same as the Woods Bh 650-Bh750. You can go to the Woods web site and request a copy of their operators manual. It shows how to adjust the linkage between the joystick lever and the valve body.

CDKenn,There is no difference with PTO in or out Kubotasam I tried the Woods site but it can't find or doesn't recognise the model #

Kubotasam: Got the manual printed out Thanks Got to look at it a little Still confused about which way the control arm assembly #20 0n page 43 faces and if the left and right levers face the same direction also they don't show the other ball joint like # 21? Got a leak somewhere in the boom/dipper Don't know yet if hose or cylinder Go in on the 11th for another shoulder operation so will be slowed done even longer One day at a time When I figure anything out I'll post

Do I need to bleed the system after I put new hoses on? Or does it self bleed itself? Any advice would be appreciated.
