Ok so looks like my 2019 with 150hrs on it is shot due to me hitting an oil issue which involved me puncturing it and running out of oil. Dealer says they can sell it for 9k. It has a loader, bucket and 3rd function. In pretty good shape. Is 9k q fair price? I have no idea how to value a tractor that needs a new engine or rebuild.

A new engine, part # 1J810-17001 is $14,741.14 plus any shipping. Flat rate labor is about 11 hours to R&R the engine.
So sorry for your misfortune. I have a 2021 with 450 hours. I opted for KTAC and have used it three times in the two years I’ve owned it. Hearing of your misfortune makes me think i made a good choice by getting the KTAC.

You may be able to sell your low time tractor for $2K more, to some private party with the capability to rebuild the engine.
around here there are people that buy them. They travel. I don't know where you're at but I might be able to get you in touch with the guy who buys a lot of that stuff in this area.

Seems like around $16K gets you a used L4701 in really good shape (your’s repaired). I sympathize with your situation, sucks, having to spend the additional money. You will end up with a tractor you know. Unless you decide to take the opportunity to upsize or downsize.

Has the engine been torn down? You may be able to rebuild it, unless a rod came out the side and destroyed the block or something on that order.
