Anyone own one of these? Looking for options to raise it up 1/2 to 1 inch so I don’t scrape all my class II I just laid down. No side adjustments on this model. Asked landpride if they made thicker shoes but they don‘t. Here is what I am considering. Remove shoes, put washers between shoes and the pusher. Would need longer screws and the front one wouldn’t be able to be screwed in. Won’t line up. Or, go to a fab shop and have thicker shoes made. Could try bumping the lift in the rear a tab bit. If anyone has any better ideas, I’m all ears. Thanks.

Looking at them on the web, what about buying some high density UHMW in 3/4" or 1" and adding that to the bottoms of the shoes?

I’ll get some pictures soon. Would rather have one solid piece for shoes. Am considering having new shoes made that bolt to the side and adjustable. Would have to drill holes on the sides but no big deal. Getting late in the season to get to deep into it. Thinking the quickest way is to put washers in between the shoes and box. Could order another blade, then have it cut shorter. Thanks for the reply.
Washers (or even nuts) would be a very easy way to obtain your desired height change. I would drill a new hole for the front one to ensure it's secure though.
A better and even simpler solution (semi permanent, anyway) would be to cut and drill some mounting holes in a hardwood spacer (sized to fit of course) to go between the factory shoes and the mounting points on your blower. An oak or maple board would last a very long time.....especially if painted. you could even cut a front piece seperately to fit in the front end as well. then everything could be bolted again as normal with longer bolts.
You could make the spacers any thicknes you wanted for raising up the blower to your liking. Even a cheap pine board or multiples thereof should last you through the season and more. Once you find the height you like, then figure out and fab up a more permanent solution.....if even necessary.

Well, guess my idea went out the window. The bolts are pressed in. I’m screwed. Thought about ordering another blade and have it cut 1 inch off the bottom but thats out too. Bottom pic is the blade underneath.

That sucks! But they look like they might be some type of common "Plow Bolt". You might be able to find a long enough length at a TSC or online somewhere. You'd need to pound one out to see the proper type to look for.
If you remove the top nut from one, put a board over the bolt and give it a whack. It might pop out real easy. You could even just loosen the top nut and give the nut a whack. I think you might be surprised to get it out so easily.
Yeah, I think they are just plow bolts with a nut on the back. My grader scraper and rear blade have identical type bolts.

Those are plow bolts that have a tapered head with a square shoulder that fits into the hole that is made the same in the blade. They come in a multitude of sizes both diameter and length. If they are stuck, then a small tap with a piece of wood will knock them out.

to remove, undo nut until flush with bolt threads THEN tap the nut/bolt surface. When loose, remove nut, bolt falls out.
If you remove nut then whack the end of the bolt, you'll mash the threads and have to redie the bolt or toss it out cause you really,really mushed the threads.

Thanks folks. Am 7 weeks out from rotator cuff surgery so will have to wait awhile before I do this. Will call the dealer to see if land pride makes long bolts. Otherwise, will check with Tractor supply.
Just talked to my dealer/salesman. They have them in stock and said tractor supply or runnings should have them in stock. Going to try to pop that front one out and get longer ones. Thanks again folks.
Almost done. Not sure I need to drill and bolt that front angle. Pretty thick steel. 1 inch of washers for lift gave me half inch lift on blade. Good enough for this season.
Should get the poly scraper bar for it, unless they don't offer it for the 48" size. One thing I don't like about the Land Pride models is the back drag feature is steel edge,not a poly one....
