Why does every attachment pressure bleed off? I’m pulling trees and lock on to a tree and by the time go for the second yank my puller has lost its grip. Same with grapple no matter open or closed. Whatever direction I made the grapple open or closed it bleeds off the other way. If I click the button to keep it locked on and try to drive away with pressure locked on the load and let’s say I change driving speed to rabbit it freakin jumps and jolts like it’s having seizure. Thanks in advance for your help. I did have a leak at the quick connects on machine and grapple and have replaced them but it still happens. If I try to use my Harley rake at half idle and if it bogs down even the least little bit while driving the machine convulses again. If I raise the bucket to 6’ high and even with machine on it will be at 3’ high in 10 minutes. Has to be on machine side but not sure where to look now

So the bottom line is you are maybe asking three questions?

1: Why are my cylinders leaking down?

2: Why does my unit convulse at times?

3: Are these events related?

Edit: Cylinders leaking down could be related to the control valve assembly...other questions no idea...

I'm sure Dan will be along shortly to correct me, but it sounds like your "main" valve is leaking down.

(That's not the name hence my "quotes")

One solution might be to put a Double Piloted Operated Check Valve (DPOCV) in the lines to prevent this leak down or to replace that "main" valve

cylinder leak isn't uncommon. The seals inside the cyl leak, causes cyl to fail to hold pressure.

could also be control valve issue although unlikely. Also MUCH more involved and likely expensive.

Or possibly a leaking hose or fitting. You did say you have a leak somewhere right?
