My BX23s was purchased new 8/2023.

I have a like new set (F/R) of R14 tires and wheels.
No flats, cuts or other wear.

I will straight across trade you for your Turf tires/wheels in the same condition.

Message me if you're near the Olympia area.

Curious why you want to switch styles of tire. Please explain reasons to change.

The commercial tread is too rough and also tears up the grass. Prior to purchasing my 23s, I chose the Turfs, then changed that to the R14s. I (and my back) regret that change.

Take it out of 4wd whenever possible when driving on the lawn. I can understand using 4wd when you have to , but yeah it will tear up grass turning in 4wd. Man everybody wanted R14"s when they first came out! Supposed to be the best between R4"s and turfs! I have r4"s and dont tear up grass. I cut in 2wd, but if you have a wet lawn theres not much you can do about that.

I don't run in 4wd unless I'm off the grass, which is when I'm in the wet stuff out back. If I do go out back, it isn't until the drier months.

It's not so much the grass thats my concern, it's my back being jack-hammered from the stiff tires.

Well good luck to you. With no suspension on a tractor a smooth ride is hard to come by.

I've experimented with air pressure of the R14's a little bit. Dropping down does help. For mowing, with the FEL & BH off, 10psi F/R does well. That, combined with 1.25" rear wheel spacers, I'm able to cut (butt on edge of seat and using the grab handle) the ditches while traveling the length.

I stayed with the same psi while (MMM off) FEL and Box Blade are on (no load in bucket) and the tires carry the load alright. What I don't want is to roll a front tire off the bead. I'll have to do more testing at a later time.

Currently the tires are at 10psi with a frame mounted Snow Plow and rear ballast.

I've spoken to several who have the 23s or older 25d, who run turfs, the owner of the 25d has for many many years, without an issue. Their uses are selling points for me needs as well.
