I want to change the battery on my L3540. I took a quick look and it looks like you need to remove the entire front grill piece. I am not near the tractor and want to do this this week and want to make sure I have all the tools with me. Any advice would be appreciated from those who have changed their battery.

That grill piece come off by removing a couple wing nuts, disconnecting headlight wires and lifting it out of the two holes it sets in. Not a big or requiring any special tools.
