Help I.D. hydraulic connector please.

I am wanting to purchase a ready made pressure gauge to check my hydraulic pressure and have found one with a handy hose extension. However....I am not sure what size/type the connectors are on my tractor (1996 Kubota L2350DT).

Does anyone know what they are? I know I will need to order the set up with a 'female' connector (not the male shown in pic).

The female coupler clearly says Pioneer on it. There should also be a part number that will identify the series on it.

Then go buy a matching coupler and screw it on to the hose on your gauge.

Those are Pioneer 4000 series (ISO 5675) couplers - 4030-3P is the Parker part number for the 3/8" female half but any 3/8" body ISO 5675 will interchange.

You are welcome. You bought a gauge and hose - what size and type thread does the hose have?

My preference is 1/4" hose with JIC-06 swivel ends. You would hook it to that Pioneer coupler with one of these. That way its easy to match the hose and gauge to different test points.

Decided against the hose. It will be simple enough to see a pressure gauge when hooked to the loader valve.

So just ordered the connector and a 5k psi pressure gauge. That way I can keep the gauge in my toolbox on the tractor.

Thats fine but it greatly limits your ability to use that gauge for real trouble shooting.

With a complete number and the diameter of the tip, I'm sure I could help.

We aslo have four documents at the top of the page you screenshoted, they can be downloaded and print to help determine what you have.

Also, you'd obviously need a female coupler on your gauge, so we would ask that you order the cause without a coupler, then the proper female coupler for the Hydraulic Couplers page and we'd build it for you.
