Three months, five dealers , multiple contacts with Kubota direct and now answers. Never realized trying to spend $70k would be so difficult.

Planned on buying an LX3310HSDC, loader, leveler, 3rd function, forks, commercial front snowblower, lights, radio, hydraulic remote hookup for the 3-point. Had it all worked out with the dealership only to get there and find out they can’t get the LX3310 anymore.

Okay, where now on to the LX3520 or LX4020. Start calling around to find one dealership that can put this package together and not one could say if or when they could deliver because they’re waiting on Kubota for an allocation of snowblower drivetrain and mounting parts and Kubota doesn’t provide this information to them. Made multiple attempts myself contacting Kubota direct and received no real answer, just contact your dealership.

Now with the change in financing the cost to purchase this tractor just went up $7k.

I find it interesting that not one Kubota dealership sold straight Kubota. Each one sold other brands in the same size like Bobcat, New Holland and Massey Ferguson.

Why not consider some of the more common models such as a L3560?

“Footprint”. How much space will this occupy and I won’t buy another tractors without a cab. Currently have a fully loaded BX with less the backhoe.
This is not a need for me but a want. I worked my butt off the last few years and this was going to be my reward.
Probably going to look at the JD 3039R.

Compare the specs. The difference is literally inches. I’m pretty sure the L3560 is available with a cab. You can get the less expensive “Special Edition” as well.

The L3560 is a foot long and wider. I’m. Looking for more PTO hp and loader lift capacity while minimizing the overall footprint.

I'm curious as to the 'overall footprint' concern. If you're have a loader and running PTO stuff, you tend to need a lot of space anyway. If the '1 foot' extra is a problem, you gotta be running in tight quarters and hopefully never, ever make a mistake.

The JD 3039R with a cab and front snowblower would be a good choice for you. :)

I don’t want to use anymore space than necessary in my shop. Can’t keep equipment outside. I also still want to be able to use an enclosed trailer.

I am not really sure how to read / follow the string…OP joined this morning to say not buying a Kubota? Am I reading this correct? Good luck I guess.

Whatever you decide, I would think if going green, a greener forum would have more product knowledge about green machines, I would think…but I don’t know that to be true…there are some mechanical genius on this site (I am most certainly not one). Whatever deciding I’d recommend focus on your criteria and after sales service needs.

Like it or not in some cases (I don’t think that is brand specific) in past few years there has been some aspect of ‘get in line’ if looking for something specific. It’s not my machine or money, but I would not swap brands based on availablility of an implement…that’s just me. There are likely other and better implement choices available than just LP. Nothing wrong with LP, but I would not swap base machine/ tractor unless it fits your needs better, or you think product better, or better after sales service.

Finally I’d shop the after sales service of the dealers if you will be needing parts or service. That’s important too.

Anyway happy shopping. ☕

Five different dealership and each is held up by Kubota allocation. Most have the snowblowers but no driveline to run it and some have tractors. The sales guys are like “can’t tell you when we might see it because Kubota doesn’t tell us anything” and sure enough I contacted Kubota multiple times and received the same no information response.

Seems like Kubota doesn’t give a “hoot”

So.......you just joined only to complain about supply chain issues?(and to tell us you're buying JD??) 🚎

Is this correct? 🤖

Most if not all of us who've bought equipment the past ~3yrs have had to wait. 😷 << hint*

If you have a point, please make it....or if you have a question, please ask it ! (if you want to merely complain, I hear they love talking smack about orange over on the green forums)

My old handle apparently expired so I create a new.

This is the Kubota sight and for that reason they (Kubota) should know what the feedback is. Seems like everything there goes in deaf ears. I know Kubota watches this sight the same way every other major company in the country watches the sights related to their company.

I’ve owned my Kubota for over 16yrs. Can’t believe the manufacturers only response to everything has been “contact your dealer”

I don't know how it is in Wisconsin, but up here the local Kubota dealership only sells Kubota, and they have a lot of inventory at present. They must have 15 or more cabbed tractors on the lot and twice that many open station models. No doubt this isn't much for many here, but given the past three years it sure looks like a lot of inventory to me. I drive past the dealership on my way to town and it's looking like the supply chain issues have been resolved.

Yup. I buy a new machine, I’ll sell what I have and I’m not using a plow or bucket to clear.
Sounds like it would have been more economical to get the rig w/o the blower and save $7k. That would have saved enough to cover a blower.

OK, so it's a 'storage' problem not actual use. Know that very well going from 4300 to 200 sqft.
One option for a snowblower is a self powered SSQA version. While most may be more cash up front,it does allow for QUICK, EASY swaps between blower and bucket and forks. Also allows for alternative storage as it comes off.
BTW if you think buying a tractor is fun, try 'building a pickup' online !!!

At least they were being honest with you.

Some "less scrupulous" dealers might have taken your money and just played the "were waiting on the parts" game forever.....

I had to wait a year (14 months'ish?) to get my BH77 but they were very upfront with me about the wait time.

Said I was 4th in line and they could not guarantee a date. Calling around was futile, so I signed up and waited.

If JD has it in stock, and your OK with a green machine, then that's the route I would go if I were you.
