Hello and thanks for taking the time.
I have a new alternator I need to install, but the wires and the connectors are identical, as are the wires coming from the tractor.
Could someone help me determine which wire goes with which?
Thanks, Robert

Need a little more clarity!
If they are identical then I don't see an issue?

Seems like it would make a difference which one goes to positive and which to negative. Although the connectors going to the tractor are identical to each other as well. Hopefully it doesn't matter but I would like to be sure so I don't screw something up.

If you have a rectifier separate from the alternator, then the current produced will be alternating (AC) and the wires will be interchangeable.

That alternator produces AC voltage, so blue wires are the same. They plug into a 'rectifer-regulator' black box that converts AC into DC and then control the voltage.
