Raising Tractor With Stabilizers For Backhoe

I saw a small discussion in one of the threads about how high to raise the tractor with the rear stabilizers when using the backhoe.
I happened to find this while going through my owners manual; couldn't find the thread, so here.

All I can add to this is that the stabs sink in soil, and may need adjustment as you dig in the same spot. If you can get the rear tires to clear the ground, you're good.
But in some terrain you just can't.
Just keep her level.

Found the stock stabilizer pads less than adequate on both the M59 and B26. Once they sink into the ground less stable. Add hillside operation less safe. OEM rubber pads help and add 3” height. Added steel tubing, angle and cleats for additional height and doubled pad area. So far been pleased with the modifications.
