You’re a glutton for punishment… make some hard lines that attach to cylinders that go to a bulk head that can be protected.
Although I resemble that comment, I fail to see how a hard line would solve a situation where a stick jams its way in-between the cylinder and the hose/hard line.

Either way I think a small line like that is gonna break.

I am conjuring up something that will prevent/protect the hose/hoses from contacting the sticks in the first place.

At least thats what I have running through my head now anyway......

If you snag a hard line its going to go poof. A forged steel SAE-08 port adapter will snap off like a twig. Experience speaking.

Maximize your pritection with covers and routing then stay aware.

Just figured you needed more shop time! I like the cover idea too. Anything to protect these fragile undercarriages is a win! After popping the HST filter on my less than 10 hr LX, I try to be more aware when in the woods on the MX.

Might change the fittings to use ready made hoses from Surplus Center.

Cut a piece of Schedule 80 pipe down the center and use half of it to cover the rubber hose. Hold the pipe onto the cylinder with nuts welded to the cylinder and tabs welded to the half pipe. Grade 8 bolts to hold everything together. Armor it like a Humvee going into battle.

Had a look, on my BX23S the hoses are on the 'front facing' side of the cylinders,so pretty protected from 'angry trees' attacking the hoses.
'economy' version of Dusty's idea would be 4"PVC and gear clamps.....
or....
maybe swap the cylinders left to right (have to see if that'd work) , to protect them ?

I am trying to help him spend some money, because the more he spends, the more careful he will be in the future, unless he is filthy rich, in which case he will help to keep the Kubota dealer in business. :)

Take the stabilizer pad off. Slide a piece of 4” corrugated black drain pipe over cylinders and hoses. Notch where needed. Secure with band clamp or heavy zip ties. Flexible and not easily breakable.
