If the Arabs laid down their arms there would be peace. If the Israelis laid down their arms there would be no more Israel. What is the liklihood of either?

Maybe so, maybe not. Who knows...

BUT if BOTH laid down their arms...MAYBE

Edit: But it is more complicated than that...also have to take into account what one side can do against the other other than simple military steps (or has done in the past) which encourags the current situation to exist.

Just an observation here...no solution proposed...unfortunate situation...all around...
